Ryan Mason

Purple Belt Instructor

Hello everyone! My name is Ryan! I began my Jiu Jitsu journey in 2012. I am a very dedicated and passionate individual to the martial art as a complete lifestyle. I am a former high school wrestler of Mount Hebron which kicked off my interest in any sort of one on one contact sport. I continued to get highly involved with a physical lifestyle after graduating high school for a few years. I then decided to give Jiu Jitsu a try after the guidance of some friends to apply what I was gaining on a mat that I as previously familiar with. I fell in love with Jiu Jitsu in my first class. I have been a very consistent practitioner since day one. I have benefited greatly to develop as a person much more than just when it comes to physicality. This martial art is a true vehicle for success from body, mind to spirit. I am greatly inspired by my Professor Joao Paulo to carry the values of what he has taught me on and off the mats to everyone around me to benefit them greatly as it has for me to become a better person every day. I believe in an environment of fun loving, positive, and hardworking and focused individuals as the basis of our foundation. I am very excited to meet each and every single one of you! Oss!
